AdventBuddy is a free, independent project providing Seventh-day Adventist spiritual resources via WhatsApp and this website. It is not a commercial product. The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind.
AdventBuddy is an independent project and is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists® or any of its affiliated entities.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Spam, abuse, or attempt to overload the WhatsApp bot
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the bot or its content
- Post or transmit content that is hateful, abusive, or harmful to others
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
4. Content & Accuracy
AdventBuddy draws from publicly available Adventist resources including the Bible (KJV and other translations), the Seventh-day Adventist Hymnal, Ellen G. White writings, and official Sabbath School materials. While we aim for accuracy, we do not warrant that all content is complete, current, or error-free. Always verify important spiritual or theological questions with your local church community or pastor.
5. Intellectual Property
The AdventBuddy name, mascot, logo, and website design are the property of the project creator. Bible texts, hymns, EGW writings, and Sabbath School content are sourced from their respective rights holders. We make no claim of ownership over such third-party content.
6. Availability & Changes
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. As a solo-maintained project, occasional downtime may occur.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AdventBuddy and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance.
